TotalEnergies Reaches 500 MW of Onsite B2B Solar Distributed Generation for Customer Self-Consumption Worldwide
TotalEnergies said that getting to 500 MW of onsite B2B solar distributed generation was a big step forward. Solar panels have been installed at more than 300 industrial and commercial sites in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
Through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), TotalEnergies sells its B2B customers green electricity generated on their sites.
It designs, finances, builds and runs solar installations on these roofs, carports, and other available industrial properties.
With these solar solutions, businesses can generate clean energy on their property. This saves them money on their electricity bills and reduces their carbon footprints.
