As part of its efforts to improve transparency, Samsung Biologics further aligned its disclosures with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and introduced a dedicated ESG Factbook featuring key sustainability metrics and performance indicators.

The company also earned an 'A' rating in Water Security from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), recognizing its efforts in water management and environmental stewardship.
Beyond environmental initiatives, the report highlights continued investments in people and responsible supply chain management. Samsung Biologics partnered with leading educational institutions to help develop future biotechnology professionals through career development programs. It also expanded leadership and professional growth opportunities for women across the organization.
The company made further progress in supplier engagement, with sustainability assessments covering 57.3% of participating suppliers. The initiative is designed to encourage responsible sourcing practices while building a more resilient and sustainable supply chain.
On the governance front, Samsung Biologics introduced measures to strengthen ethical risk management and improve oversight. According to the report, the company adopted a more diversified evaluation process to enhance the independence, transparency, and credibility of governance decisions, supporting long-term business resilience.
The company also continued working with partners across the healthcare sector to promote broader sustainability goals. As a champion of the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) Health Systems Task Force, Samsung Biologics participated in collaborative projects focused on creating lower-carbon healthcare value chains and encouraging more sustainable industry practices.
