Navya Bags Top Place in Gaïa Research's Annual ESG Rating in Automotive Category
The Gaïa Research rating agency, a global benchmark in the rating of ESG performance of listed and non-listed companies operating on European markets, has recognised NAVYA, a leader in autonomous mobility systems, for its commitment to continuous progress in environmental, social, and governance factors.
Nayva's grade adds to the company's other accolades this year, which include ISO 9001 accreditation and an action plan based on the UN Global Compact's Ten Principles.
Navya's 2021 Gaïa score is up 123% from 2019 and 89% from 2020, indicating that it has achieved significant progress in the most critical parts of the ESG challenges - governance, staff, ethics, environment, and stakeholder relations.
It has consistently improved through transformation action plans, which has helped it become one of the top five French car companies. It has done this by meeting strict quantitative criteria and getting an overall score much higher than the average for the sector.
In the face of top-level international competition, Navya won the bronze medal for 2022, based on its performance in 2021, and distinguished itself in particular by its performance in meeting its objectives according to various criteria, e.g.:
- Up by 680% on environmental issues compared to 2019
- Up by 83% on social issues compared to 2019
- Up by 72% on product responsibility and et relations with both its suppliers and customers, and also with civil society
