Founded in Toronto, Ensogo develops AI-powered sustainability tools that help companies simplify ESG compliance and improve sustainability reporting. Its platform enables organizations to monitor environmental performance, enhance operational visibility, and stay aligned with changing regulatory requirements. The company also combines environmental, health, and safety expertise with data analytics and artificial intelligence to support decision-making.
With the acquisition, Ensogo’s technology will be integrated into Novara’s Flex platform as a native AI solution. The enhanced platform is expected to provide organizations with more advanced tools for identifying risks, automating compliance processes, and improving sustainability management.
According to the companies, the combined capabilities will support predictive risk modeling, natural language analysis of safety-related data, automated compliance workflows, ESG data collection and validation, and carbon accounting across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. The platform will also help organizations address increasingly complex environmental regulations and reporting obligations.
Ensogo co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Elie Mouzon said businesses are moving away from fragmented and reactive systems toward more intelligent technologies that can anticipate risks before they become larger operational issues.
He noted that combining AI-powered sustainability capabilities with Novara’s operational risk management platform creates an opportunity to deliver deeper risk intelligence across environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs.
As part of the transaction, Mouzon will join Novara as Chief Strategy Officer. In his new role, he will help shape the company’s long-term strategy across artificial intelligence, sustainability, and risk management initiatives.
Ensogo co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Tommy Ng will also join Novara as Vice President of AI Engineering. He will focus on advancing the company’s agentic AI capabilities and supporting the continued development of intelligent solutions across the Novara platform.
