Neste and Partners Launch Europe Tour on Low-Carbon Solutions
Neste Oyj

Raising awareness about sustainability and the benefits of renewable fuels.
Concluding in Brussels in front of the European Parliament by releasing a comprehensive report on CO₂ reductions achieved during the journey.
Neste, the world's leading producer of renewable diesel, will join 20 companies and institutions from the automotive and biofuel industries for a three-month tour across Europe.
Tour d’Europe will raise awareness about the availability and potential of renewable fuels in reducing carbon emissions in road transport.
Officially flagged off on March 25, the journey includes stopovers across multiple locations, including Neste's facilities in the Netherlands and Finland, to convey that renewable fuels are the immediate solution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving net-zero goals.

Trucks and cars running on renewable fuels will stop at various city locations to engage in talks with policymakers and the public. They are mounted with a "digital fuel twin" (DFT) tool, which monitors and verifies carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions reductions. This is to put across the message of how renewable fuels can work in tandem with other technologies like electrification and hydrogen to decarbonise road transport.
The tour will demonstrate how green fuels can achieve zero emissions during use, where they are widely used, and how they can be used with existing fuel infrastructure and vehicles.
It will conclude on 23 June in Brussels, where a report will be released verifying the CO₂ reductions achieved during the journey. Also, a display of vehicles and technologies will take place outside the European Parliament to reinforce the message that renewable fuels are a practical, scalable, affordable, and accessible option for Europe’s energy transition.
