Kasper From Larsen joins Nordea AM after more than 11 years at Danske Bank Asset Management, where he most recently served as Senior Portfolio Manager. During his tenure, he held sector responsibilities across energy, utilities, infrastructure, and materials, areas that are central to the global climate transition. In his new role at Nordea AM, From Larsen will support the firm’s existing climate strategies and help develop potential new climate-focused investment solutions.
Rachel Reutter brings over 13 years of experience from J O Hambro Capital Management, where she most recently acted as lead Portfolio Manager for the JOHCM UK Opportunities Fund. The fund is known for its concentrated equity approach, strong ESG integration, and a structured process of corporate engagement. At Nordea AM, Reutter will focus on the firm’s impact strategies, including the Nordea 1 – Global Impact Fund, which targets investments that generate positive social and environmental outcomes alongside long-term returns.
Both new Portfolio Managers will report to Thomas Sørensen and Henning Padberg, co-heads of Nordea AM’s Sustainable Thematic Team. The leadership duo oversees the strategic direction of the platform, which has become a core pillar of Nordea AM’s broader sustainable investing offering.
Commenting on the appointments, Sørensen said that the two hires bring complementary skill sets and a shared commitment to high-quality sustainable investing. He added that their extensive experience and strong analytical capabilities will strengthen the team’s ability to deliver long-term, impact-driven results for clients.
