€70M Rubio Fund III Backs Climate and Social Solutions

Highlights
- Rubio Fund III has raised €70 million to invest in companies dealing with the climate crisis and social inequality.
- Backing comes from returning investors and top institutions, including the European Investment Fund.
Rubio Fund III has launched with €70 million in commitments, in what could be the newest chapter in Rubio’s, a leading Amsterdam-based impact venture fund, work in impact finance.
The fund’s object is to channel capital into ambitious companies working on scalable solutions for the climate crisis and social inequality.
The vision is similar to that of companies like Sympower, which work on stabilising the energy grid; NoPalm, which is reshaping ingredients in the food sector; and OpenUp, which expands access to qualified mental health care.
