Nikon has recently earned a "Prime" rating in The ESG Corporate Rating by ISS ESG, a key evaluator in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) space.

This recognition, a first for Nikon, highlights the company's dedication to responsible business practices.

ISS ESG evaluates companies based on their environmental, social, and governance performance, and Nikon's "Prime" rating indicates a high evaluation within its industry, recognising its commitment to sustainability.

The assessment focused on Nikon's initiatives in areas like the environment and human rights. In addition, Nikon has been selected for all ESG indices adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) for domestic stocks.

In line with its Corporate Philosophy of Trustworthiness and Creativity, Nikon aims to meet societal expectations by earning "trust" across environmental, social/labour, and governance aspects.

The company is committed to contributing to a sustainable society where the collaboration between humans and machines results in the seamless creation of new value through business activities. Nikon continues its efforts to promote these values.
