Atos announces that it has received the highest rating available to an organisation (the AAA rating) in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) ESG rating 2022, placing it among the top 7% of companies in the 'Software and Service' industry with a good performance in Sustainability as measured by the Environmental, Social, and Governance dimensions.

Since 2017, Atos has held a leadership position, demonstrating its continuous improvement, commitment to sustainability, and excellence in ESG practices.

MSCI analysts acknowledge Atos' industry-leading outstanding management actions to reduce carbon emissions, particularly its carbon emission reduction targets. These goals are consistent with the most recent STBi targets and aim to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2039.

It also underscores Atos' expertise in clean technology efforts, such as its solutions to help customers decarbonise their operations through its A to Zero portfolios of digital platforms and advisory services.

Furthermore, MSCI analysts remark a stabilised and strengthened governance at Atos, as well as diversity on the Board of Directors, which is made up of more than 50% women as of August this year. This increased governance contributes to the successful implementation of Atos' strategic transformation project, which aims to produce value for all stakeholders.

Diane Galbe, Senior Executive Vice President at Atos, said:

"We are really proud to receive this triple A assessment which confirms Atos’ continued commitment to a sustainable future for all, as expressed by our statement of purpose and our ambitious climate targets. As a leading company in digital transformation, we are committed to reducing our own carbon footprint and enabling our clients to take action to reduce their own emissions through our portfolio of innovative digital solutions.”
