Maral Kazanjian is appointed chief people officer at Moody's

As on February 14, 2022, Maral Kazanjian will serve as Moody's Corporation's (NYSE:MCO) Chief People Officer, the company said today. Ms. Kazanjian will be in charge of the company's talent acquisition, development, and retention strategy in this position. She will be a part of the executive leadership team for the business.

said Rob Fauber, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moody’s.

Ms. Kazanjian brings an extensive background in employee relations, talent management and employment law. Most recently, she served as the Chief People Officer for WeWork, where she led talent strategy and workforce planning for its global employee base. In her previous tenure with Moody’s, she held senior leadership roles in employee relations and employee law and served as a member of the HR Leadership Team and Executive Diversity Council. Previously, Ms. Kazanjian was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Ms. Kazanjian holds a J.D. from the Rutgers School of Law-Newark and a B.A. in Government and Psychology from Georgetown University.
