Wolves & Foundation Go Green with Reconomy

Wolves and the Wolves Foundation have extended their partnership with Reconomy, a global circular economy specialist.
This collaboration, lasting over 25 years, was strengthened before the 2022/23 Premier League season when Reconomy became the sustainability partner for Wolves and the back-of-shirt sponsor for Wolves' women's team.
The extended partnership will continue until the end of the 2023/24 season, covering the sponsorship of Wolves Women and supporting Wolves' goal to be leaders in environmental sustainability.
In early 2023, Wolves launched the One Pack One Planet initiative, committing to be net zero by 2040 and focusing on waste reduction and sustainability across the club.
As part of the expanded partnership, Reconomy will also become a Pack Patron for Wolves Foundation, making an annual financial commitment to support the Foundation's work in local communities.
Throughout their partnership, Reconomy has introduced initiatives to enhance business circularity and sustainability during matchdays at Molineux and New Bucks Head, the women's team home ground. This includes implementing an e-commerce returns capability through Reconomy's brand ReBound. In June 2023, Reconomy and Wolves collaborated to donate a new girls' football kit made from recycled plastic to a local Wolverhampton primary school.
Steve Sutton, Director of Facilities, Safety, and Security at Wolves, stressed the importance of sustainability in the club's strategy, expressing excitement about deepening the relationship with Reconomy.
Kieron Ansell, Business Development Manager at Wolves Foundation, welcomed Reconomy as a Pack Patron, highlighting their support's positive impact on the Wolverhampton community.
Paul Cox, Founder Director at Reconomy, praised Wolves for their commitment to sustainability, expressing delight in deepening the relationship with an organisation that shares similar values. Cox extended best wishes to both the men's and women's teams for their respective league seasons.
