GreenStep has launched Destination360, a comprehensive suite designed to accelerate sustainability and climate action in tourism destinations.
The programme targets Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) and helps them measure, plan, and implement sustainable tourism strategies that benefit communities and visitors.
Launched at the 2025 TIAC Tourism Congress, Destination360 gives teeth to GreenStep’s work with destinations throughout North America and combines a tested framework, expert guidance, and digital tools to support tourism destinations in achieving environmental and operational improvements.

Through Destination360, DMOs can engage local tourism businesses and stakeholders to advance sustainability goals.
The programme includes baseline assessments, carbon footprinting, and digital dashboards that track industry, organisational, and destination performance. DMOs receive assistance in developing strategies for sustainability and climate action, pursuing globally recognised certifications, and reporting on their progress to visitors, partners, and communities.
Every stage of the programme incorporates expert advice and practical tools, which help organisations make decisions without dedicated sustainability staff.

With experience in sustainable tourism since 2008, GreenStep has worked with top Canadian organisations, including Destination Canada, Destination BC, Destination Northern Ontario, Tourisme Montréal, and Ottawa Tourism.
Angela Nagy, CEO of GreenStep, said: “Destinations are under increasing pressure to meet growing industry, visitor and resident demand for sustainable tourism, while demonstrating credible, measurable progress, yet many lack the tools and capacity to get there.
“Destination360 was developed to meet this need, helping destinations move from commitment to coordinated action to results, with support every step of the way.”
All in all, Destination360 supports tourism destinations in moving from planning to practical, measurable outcomes, encouraging a regenerative tourism model that benefits the environment, residents, and visitors alike.
