Foley Hoag Hires Jessica Maroney as Director of DE&I

Jessica Maroney Shillito has joined Foley Hoag, an award-winning, mid-sized, international law firm, as Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I).
Based in New York, she will head a four-person DE&I team responsible for the firm’s inclusion programmes.
She moves to Foley Hoag from Paul, Weiss, with a background that combines legal practice, recruitment expertise, and leadership in DE&I initiatives.

Her professional journey started after graduating from Harvard Law School, when she became an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Manhattan. Later, she shifted to business roles in several law firms.
Over time, she became closely involved with professional bodies, such as the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals (ALFDP), where she served on the board, and the National Association for Law Placement (NALP).
She has also mentored law students and legal professionals in different settings since 2004.
