Ecorobotix Attracts $150M for AI-Powered Precision Farming

Highlights
- Ecorobotix raises $150M through Series C and D rounds to scale AI-driven Plant-by-Plant™ spraying.
- Precision technology pares down pesticide use by up to 95% and lowers costs as well as meets strict regulations.
- New innovation to be unveiled at Agritechnica 2025.
Ecorobotix has drawn global attention after raising $150 million through two funding rounds to take its AI-powered Plant-by-Plant™ technology to the next stage.
This technology is designed to reshape modern agriculture by treating individual plants with precision. The company plans to reveal its latest innovation at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover, a high-profile international event for agricultural machinery.
At the centre of Ecorobotix’s growth is its Ultra-High Precision (UHP) spraying system. This system can identify each plant and treat it using a spray footprint only a few centimetres wide.

Such precision cuts down the use of pesticides and crop protection chemicals by up to 95%, all while keeping treatment standards as high as possible.
What are the advantages? Farmers benefit from this technology through lower input costs, safe use of non-selective products, and compliance with tighter regulations, which, in turn, leads to higher crop yields.
Ecorobotix’s recent expansion has been supported by several investors. The Series D funding was led by Highland Europe, with ECBF and McWin Capital Partners joining as new participants.
These investments have given the company the financial foundation to expand its technology into more crop types, widen its product range, and bring advanced crop algorithms to market at a faster pace.
According to CEO Dominique Mégret, investor trust has been key to scaling up a proven system that can improve food quality worldwide.
The upcoming presentation at Agritechnica 2025 will feature a new development that sets a higher bar for precision crop protection.

Farmers face rising operational costs, labour shortages, and pressure to cut input use while increasing output. To this end and to soothe their concerns, this technology is designed to give better tools to manage these realities and improve productivity sustainably.
