Workshop: Jouke Piet Drijfhout - cooking with sustainable and honest products

During the Expedition through the FUTURE, we introduce visitors to the world of circularity and sustainability. One of the parts of this event is workshops. These can be found on the creation terrace and in the Energy Knowledge Center Leeuwarden.

As a chef at the Slotpleats, Jouke brings his passion for cooking to life by using fresh, local ingredients of the highest quality. He has a deep respect for nature and strives to use sustainable and seasonal products. This not only ensures delicious flavors, but also contributes to preserving the environment.

With his skilled technique and eye for detail, Jouke creates dishes that are both visually stunning and a feast for the taste buds. He plays with different textures, flavours and presentations, making every meal a unique experience. His menus range from classic dishes with a modern twist to bold, groundbreaking combinations that stimulate the senses.
