The UN CC:Learn Introductory e-Course on Climate Change is a free, self-paced online course developed by the UN Climate Change Learning Partnership, a collaboration of over 30 UN organizations including UNITAR, UNEP, UNDP, and UNFCCC. This flagship course provides a comprehensive introduction to climate change science, governance, and action. The 6-module curriculum covers climate science fundamentals, international climate policy framework, climate change mitigation strategies, adaptation and resilience, climate finance, and climate action planning. Each module includes interactive lessons, knowledge checks, and supplementary resources. Upon achieving 70% or higher on all module quizzes, participants receive a certificate of completion from UNITAR.
