Joint venture will deliver architecture and engineering services for the Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action Navy (CLEAN) program. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic has given AECOM's Resolution Consultants joint venture with EnSafe a single-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide architecture and engineering services for the Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action Navy (CLEAN) program. This was announced today by AECOM, the world's most trusted infrastructure consulting firm. Under the $400 million contract, the joint venture will study, look into, and design ways to help the environment.

“As we continue to advance our Sustainable Legacies strategy, we remain committed to executing projects using a framework of responsible practices that set new standards for technical excellence and help our clients tackle their toughest challenges,” said Frank Sweet, CEO of AECOM's global Environment business.

“We're proud to help our clients achieve their environmental goals using sound science, innovative restoration strategies, and a safety-first culture.”

The joint venture will manage and provide technical environmental services for important issues like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other emerging contaminants, vapor intrusion, sediments, munitions and radiological assessment, and hazardous substances. This work will help environmental restoration programs like CERCLA and RCRA comply (RCRA).

Our passionate environmental experts share a common vision of outstanding project performance as we support the CLEAN program in this role,” said Karl Jensen, executive vice president of AECOM's National Governments business.

"Our world-class specialists consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective environmental services that drive innovation and regulatory partnerships. We're proud to offer our clients an experienced team that can deliver vital environmental programs.”

The joint venture includes assessments, studies, investigations, remedial designs, management and community relations plans, human and ecological risk assessments, feasibility, treatability, and corrective measures studies, interim response and remedial action requirements for new contaminants, development and maintenance of geographical information systems, and quick response actions.
